Dr Maria Panagoiti
Dr. Maria Panagoiti is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Primary Care. Her core research interests are understanding and preventing burnout and psychological distress in healthcare professionals in primary care, and improving the quality and safety of primary care, and improving self-management support models for people with multi morbidity, and also suicide prevention. She is involved in a portfolio of externally funded studies (e.g. NIHR) on the above research topics, while currently also supervising 6 PhD students and 2 MPhil students.
